Edward Waters beats Savannah State

KINGSLAND - Kamau Leitner threw a 42-yard touchdown to Johnathan Johnson with 28 seconds left and Edward Waters rallied to beat Savannah State 26-21 on Saturday.<br /> <br /> Leitner, who completed 16 of 25 passes, finished with 192 yards passing, three touchdowns and three interceptions for Edward Waters (3-7).<br /> <br /> Savannah State (4-6) took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter when Daniel Studdard scored on a 13-yard run. Studdard, who finished with 52 yards rushing, had a 1-yard rushing score in the second to put Savannah State ahead 21-7 in second until Edward Waters scored 21 unanswered points to earn the victory.
