Forsyth Co. Sheriff's Office receives H.E.A.T. grant

CUMMING - The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office received a $117,000 H.E.A.T. grant from the Governor's Office of Highway Safety.

H.E.A.T. stands for Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic.

Forsyth County's grant will fund a new, fully equipped patrol car, including fuel and maintenance for the dedicated H.E.A.T. patrol cars and salaries for two of the three H.E.A.T. deputies.
