PEACHTREE CITY - A wind advisory has been posted for North Georgia for most of Monday as the area braces for the first freeze of the season.

The National Weather Service (NWS) says we can expect gusts of up to 35 mph between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday. That could make for tricky driving for motorists operating high-profile vehicles, according to the NWS.

By Wednesday morning, temperatures are expected to be at or below freezing across most of North Georgia, including Gainesville and surrounding areas.
