Late rally keeps No. 1 Buford unbeaten

BUFORD - Thanks to an overabundance of penalties, a stalling offense and some key defensive errors, the Buford Wolves found themselves down three points and 99 yards from the end zone with less than three minutes to go against Blessed Trinity Friday night.

But the Wolves responded with a drive that saved the day and their perfect record on the year, as they came back to beat Blessed Trinity 14-10 at Tom Riden Stadium.

The Wolves struck first, although it took awhile to find the end zone. Buford started three straight first half drives in the Titansâ
Cody Getz sprinted 51 yards for the game-winning score with 37 seconds left in the game to give Buford a come-from-behind 14-10 win over Blessed Trinity Friday night.
