UNDATED - Don't be surprised if gas prices in Georgia drop to around $2 a gallon by Thanksgiving.

That's what AAA was saying Friday morning as the price of crude oil continues to drop, even in the wake of OPEC's threat to reduce production.

Meanwhile, gasbuddy.com says the cheapest in Hall County Friday morning was in Oakwood, where three outlets were selling regular for $2.47 a gallon. But, AccessNorthGa.com's Jerry Gunn found some for $2.30 in parts of Gainesville Friday afternoon.

However, $2.49 seemed to be the going rate at most stations in the county.

The statewide average was $2.66.
