State ag commissioner to replace Gen. Clark at Clinton rally

UNDATED - State Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin has replaced General Wesley Clark as the featured speaker at a Hillary Clinton campaign rally in Gainesville Saturday.

Organizers say a scheduling conflict will keep Clark, a Democratic presidential candidate in 2004, from attending the 12:00 event in the atrium at the Hunt Tower.

Clinton is not scheduled to appear.

Another north Georgia rally is also planned later in the day, at 3:00 in Dalton.

Georgia's presidential primaries are next Tuesday, Feb. 5.
