Hilton looked at in 10-year-old missing persons case

CLEMSON, S.C. - Gary Michael Hilton's name has now come up in the investigation into the 10-year-old disappearance of a Clemson University student.

Hilton is already behind bars, suspected of killing hiker Meredith Emerson in Union County, Georgia. His name has also come up in connection with other murder cases in Florida and North Carolina.

Now, the Georgia News Network reports investigators are checking to see if he's connected to the 1998 disappearance of Jason Knapp, 20, in South Carolina.
