ATHENS - Pardon the Georgia Lady Bulldogs if they show up wearing ruby red slippers for Sunday afternoon's FSN regionally televised matchup with Alabama.

Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.

After racing to a 13-0 start, the Lady Dogs have dropped three of their last four games. All of those setbacks were on the road. To date, Georgia is 10-0 at Stegeman Coliseum this season, extending its home winning streak to 15 games dating back to Jan. 14 of last season.

Hopefully, a cup of Stegeman Soup will help the cure for what ails this team. Saturday the Georgia men kept their perfect record in tact with an 82-69 win over Arkansas. The Georgia men are now 10-0 at Stegeman.

Just two weeks ago, the Lady Bulldogs (14-3, 1-2 in SEC) traveled to Xavier looking to match the school record for wins to open a season. Sunday, Georgia takes the floor in Athens hoping to prevent just the fourth three-game losing streak during Andy Landers' 29 seasons at UGA.

Individually, Tasha Humphrey leads Georgia in both scoring and rebounding for the fourth consecutive season with averages of 16.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.

In addition, sophomores Ashley Houts and Angel Robinson are averaging double-digit points per game at 12.7 and 10.4, respectively. Houts also leads the Lady Bulldogs in assists (4.6 apg) and steals (2.9 spg), while Robinson is tops on the team in blocks (1.7 bpg).

Alabama (8-10, 1-2) sports a youthful roster with only one senior and one junior which is seemingly finding its way as the season progresses. The Crimson Tide lost the first four games of the campaign. Alabama then split its next six outings before winning five of its next six. The final outing in that stretch was a victory over South Carolina in the SEC opener.

Freshman Tierney Jenkins paces Alabama offensively at 12.1 points per game, while sophomore Talisha Chander leads the Tide on the boards with 8.6 rebounds per game. In fact, Alabama is one of the best rebounding teams in the Southeastern Conference with a 7.8 per game edge of its opponents

NOTES: The Lady Bulldogs own a 25-9 edge in the all-time series with Alabama, including a 12-3 mark in Athens...Georgia has won 12 straight meetings with the Crimson Tide during the last nine seasons, with the teams meeting twice during three of those years...A year ago, the Lady Bulldogs used a 16-0 run early in the first half and a 7-0 surge to open the second stanza en route to a 92-51 victory in Tuscaloosa. A pair of freshmen led the way for Georgia. Angel Robinson posted the first double-double of her career with a career-high 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Christy Marshall scored a career-best 17 points in her first SEC start...Two seasons ago in the most recent meeting in Athens, Cori Chambers scored 18 points, Tasha Humphrey posted her fifth straight double-double (16 points and 12 rebounds) and Janese Hardrick added 14 points and eight steals (doubling her previous career-high for thefts) to lead Georgia to an 84-59 victory. Navonda Moore poured in a game-high 23 points to lead Alabama.
