GAINESVILLE - A prostitution investigation on the southside of Gainesville leads to the arrests of seven suspected "johns."

Lt. Scott Ware of the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad says they were arrested over a period of three days this week.

They were busted on Dorsey Street and each was charged with pandering.

"We had these individuals actually respond to an ad that was placed on the computer by a prostitute that was cooperating with us," Lt. Ware said. "They showed up to pay for sex, essentially, and when they knocked on the particular hotel door we were there instead of the prostitute."

Drug agents and agents with the Gainesville-Hall County Gang Task Force made the arrests.

The seven and the charges facing them:

Edward Bruce Robinson, 44, of Atlanta, pandering.

William Masson Burns, 54, of Gillsville, pandering.

Scottie Anthony, 30, of Gainesville, pandering.

Mark Sevier, 54, of Lawrenceville, pandering and possession of marijuana.

Trevor Kelley, 33, of Flowery Branch, pandering and possession of marijuana.

Paul Sanda, 38, of Lawrenceville, pandering.

Jimmy Chastain, 52, of Dawsonville, pandering and possession of methamphetamine.
