Director of Hall County Parks and Leisure Services Deborah Mockus says SPLOST funds paid for the $3.4 million center.
The center houses a fitness center, basketball court, suspended track, and various classrooms.
"This is our first new facility of its kind in Hall County provided by the Hall County Parks and Leisure," said Mockus. "We're really proud of it."
Mockus said there are also plans to build centers like this one for the South Hall and North Hall communities.
Mockus said the designs for the center were made nearly two years ago, and the actual construction took less than a year.
Mockus says future plans for the center include walking trails, a picnic park, and two more baseball fields as funds become available.
There will be an open house at the center on October 15 and 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..
