Ramage wins Georgia Women's Open in playoff

<p>Diana Ramage of Fayetteville survived a one-hole playoff Wednesday to win her second Georgia Women's Open, after tying 17-year-old Carmen Bandea with a 5-under-par 139 over 36 holes.</p><p>In the playoff, both hit their approach shots to within 12 feet, but while Ramage two-putted for par, Bandea lipped out on a 10-foot birdie attempt and then missed from less than two feet on the Canongate on White Oak course.</p><p>Lauren Darnell of Gainesville claimed low amateur honors with a two-day total of 2-under 142 and finished alone in third place.</p><p>Ramage, who also won the Yamaha-sponsored tournament in 2005, began the day tied for second with Darnell with a first-round 69 and carded a 70 on Tuesday. The former Auburn All-American won $2,100 in her professional debut.</p><p>Bandea, who is from Duluth, led the first round with a 66. She shot a 73 on Wednesday.</p>
