1 dead, 2 injured in home invasion

<p>A 45-year-old Sandy Springs woman is dead and two men _ including the gunman _ are wounded after a home invasion, a spokesman for police said.</p><p>Authorities received a call about 10:40 p.m. Monday of a shooting at an apartment near Georgia 400 between Roswell and Sandy Springs, said Lt. Steve Rose with the Sandy Springs Police Department. Officers found Vickie E. Vice dead of a gunshot wound to the head and her boyfriend, Jesse J. McCrummen, 48, with a minor wound, Rose said.</p><p>McCrummen was treated and released at the scene, Rose said.</p><p>The suspect, Bradley C. Booth, 46, of Temple, was taken to North Fulton Hospital in critical condition from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He is not expected to live, Rose said.</p><p>Booth and Vice _ who have a 15-year-old son together _ had a history of domestic violence, Rose said. Booth had made threatening phone calls to Vice earlier Monday, and she asked McCrummen to come to her house in case of problems.</p><p>The two were eating dinner when they heard Booth break down the front door, Rose said. He entered the living room, shot Vice and McCrummen and then shot himself, Rose said.</p>
