State gasoline tax increases

ATLANTA - State gasoline taxes went up again Sunday.

They increased 1.3 cents and are now at a record 18.6 cents a gallon. This latest jump comes on the heels of a 2-cents-per-gallon increase at the beginning of June.

The increases are tied to state laws that mandate changes based on the price of gasoline.
