Mini-golf tourney raises cash for Humane Society

OAKWOOD - Golfers hit the links, putt-putt style, to raise money for the Humane Society of Hall County.

The 6th Annual "Putting for Pets" Mini Golf Tournament on June 23 raised $6200.00 for the shelter. The tournament was sponsored by Oakwood Animal Hospital, All Vaccuum Wholesale and The Oaks Miniature Golf LLC.

Winners at this year's event were:

Overall Female Winner: Teri Mooney.

Female 1st place winners in their age divisions: Briana Ricker, Victoria Blakeslee, Sahara Calderhead, Jessi Whidby, Melissa Coache, Teri Mooney, Christina Wilson, Deborah
Walker, Susan Bradley, Roberta Diffey, and Wanda Scroggy.

2nd place females: Abby Cruz, Elisabeth Wilson, Stephanie Hall, DeAnna Browne, Leigh Justice, Diane Williams, Molly Switzer, Linda Scroggy,
and Jackie Nabb.

3rd place females: Caroline Nabb, Carla Francis, P.K. Pinder, Lydia Hahne, Sheila Barnes, and Melinda Bennett.

Overall Male Winner:A.J. Benefield.

Male 1st place winners in their age divisions: Walker Moffett, Jonathan Switzer, Bradley Nabb, A.J. Benefield, Alan Brown Ingram, Andrew Rizk, Josh LeBlanc, Billy Williams, David Herrington, Joe Ingram, and Jerry Diffey.

2nd place males: Trent Partin, Luke James, Tommy Stice, Bill Moffett, Thomas Coache, Nick Ditta, Roger Pierce, Ron Hahne, and Ray Lloyd.

3rd place males: Caleb Anderson, Brandon Cruz, Leland Scoggins, Adam Alexander, Timmy Stice, Clint Anderson, Ron Scroggy, and Tom Stice.
