It's at the intersection of Atlanta Highway and the newly-opened section of Thurmon Tanner Parkway. The old Oakwood park-and-ride lot, at Mundy Mill and I-985, has been closed but will re-open after its been renovated.
The new lot has room for about 600 vehicles, three times the number the old lot can hold. By the way, it will not be enlarged during the reconstruction.
All of this is a part of the ongoing reconstruction of the Exit 16 interchange which is where the old lot is located.
