Number of new home permits in Hall Co. declines

GAINESVILLE - The value of new home permits issued in Hall County last month increased by more than $3 million over April.

However, the actual number of permits issued was down from 101 to 84.

Those 84 houses are expected to cost $20.8 million.

In addition, there were 39 permits issued for commercial/industrial construction in the county during May for projects expected to cost $15.3 million.
