Contract let for widening of I-85 in Buford area

ATLANTA - A contract has been awarded for the widening of I-85 in the Buford area.

The part of the highway is 2.2 miles, northbound, from I-985 to Georgia Highway 20. E.R. Snell Contractors of Snellville will add one lane to the highway for $10. 4 million.

The project is expected to be finished by next May.
