STATHAM - Southern Living and The Georgia Club are rolling out a collection of seven exclusive home plans, designed specifically for the northeast Georgia community. The collection's plans are based on some of the most popular Southern Living plans.

For the past 20 years, Southern Living has commissioned the nation's leading residential designers and architects to create new, unique and exclusive house plans for its magazine and website. Now for the first time, Southern Living will offer the exclusively branded home plans to the future Georgia Club residents. The partnership follows the success of The Georgia Club's 2004 Southern Living Idea House which brought 20,000 visitors to the Barrow County community.

"The Southern Living name has become synonymous with distinctive architecture and a quality building product," said Director of Sales Tom Valdes. "Their design philosophy is very much in line with ours here at The Georgia Club and we are pleased we have been able to continue our relationship through the years."

The Southern Living Home Plan Collection at The Georgia Club will include a portfolio of floorplans, ranging in size from 3,400- to more than 4,500-square-feet. The plans place emphasis on traditional Southern architecture with features such as large, covered porches, dormers, simple roof massing and large great rooms. There is an opportunity to increase the collection's inventory based on demand.

The Georgia Club plans were redesigned to fit the residents' lifestyles by enlarging room sizes, increasing ceiling heights, creating two-and-a-half and three-car garages and creating larger outdoor and deck space.

The Southern Living Home Plan Collection at The Georgia Club can be built in any of the neighborhoods at The Georgia Club and all have been pre-approved to be built as-is by the Design Review Committee. The plans are now available for review in The Georgia Club sales office.

To view these home plans or other homes of distinction at The Georgia Club, please visit www.TheGeorgiaClub.com or call (770) 725-8100 for more information.
