PHOENIX - Gainesville's Micah Owings gave up three runs in six innings but did not figure in the decision Thursday night as the Diamondbacks fell to the Mets.

Owings was making his fourth big league start and his first since coming off the 15-day disabled list after suffered a strained hamstring running the bases April 17.

His mound opponent was former Brave Tom Glavine.

Damion Easley and David Wright each hit three-run homers in the ninth inning and the New York Mets beat Arizona 9-4.
