Leopards' Harn has strong showing in wheelchair meet

JEFFERSON - Jay Harn of Banks County had a solid day in the wheelchair division at the state track and field meet Saturday.

Harn rolled his way to a pair of second place finishes in the 200-meter and 800-meter. Jesse Karcher of Lee County won both events. harn was just seven-tenths of a second behind Karcher in the 200 event.

In the Class A meet, host Jefferson began the day in eighth place but could not tally any points in the track finals.
