Monster Trucks to invade Lanier National

BRASELTON - The Monster Wars Series is heading to Lanier National Speedway for the first time. In the 26-Year history of Lanier National Speedway, Monster Trucks have never been to this historical track.

Most Monster Truck shows are small with a minimal amount of trucks, and small obstacles. Lanier National is pulling out all the stops for this event. 50 crush cars, 6 vans, 3 school buses, rock pile, motor homes, ect.. The truck line up will include the top Monsters in the country. Avenger (Freestyle World Champion), Equalizer (Racing World Champion), Brutus (Famous for the Dog body, and some wild free-style runs), Hot Tamale (Rookie of the year, has crashed in all 22 shows in 2007), All American is making his debut, and the unveiling of a New Truck, with a Legendary name driver. The Jerry The King Lawler, and Old Glory ride trucks will be on hand to give the ultimate ride to the fans.

Also in this event will be the battle of the 300 MPH Jet Cars. The 57 Blaze of Glory Funny Car, and The world Famous Jet Semi, Shockwave. A Georgia Tuff Truck Challenge will also be held, with local entries only, limited to 10 per day. (call 817-771-6815 to enter) The Legends Cars will be on hand for a 2 day National Points Showdown. When you hear the voice over the speaker system during the event, it will be a very familiar voice, Mike Galloway from ESPN will be on hand to call the event.

Monster truck pit party @ 6 pm
Show starts at 7:30 pm
