School, shopping center plans go to planning board

GAINESVILLE - Items dealing with plans for a new school and a new shopping center top the agenda for the Hall County Planning Commission's first meeting in June.

A plan for a shopping center and professional offices on Thompson Bridge Road at Eades Drive goes back before the board.

That's also when planners will consider rezoning 82 acres on Union Church Road at Holly Hock Drive where the county school board wants to build a new elementary school.

The planning board meets next Monday.
