Jury selection continues in Turner trial

DALTON - Jury selection continues in Dalton in the trial of a Cumming woman charged with the anti-freeze poisoning death of her boyfriend, Forsyth County firefighter Randy Thompson.

Lynn Turner is already serving a life sentence for killing another man, her husband, Glenn Turner, a Cobb County policeman, in the same manner.

By late Friday, 26 prospective jurors had reportedly been qualified to serve, about half of the pool needed for final jury selection.

The trial was moved from Cumming because of pre-trial publicity - and jury selection began Tuesday.
