Adams honored as 'woman of distinction'

GAINESVILLE - A Gainesville woman has been recognized for her work with the city&#39;s growing international community.<br> <br> Juanita Adams was honored Tuesday by the Girl Scouts of Northeast Georgia Girl with its Woman of Distinction award.<br> <br> Adams holds a 30 year certificate from the Georgia Baptist Language Missions Department for teaching English as a second language. She is a long-time member of the First Baptist Church on Green Street, where she works closely with the international congregations.
