North Hall blanks West Hall

MURRAYVILLE - North Hall got a complete game and some good hitting from Zach Brewster, as the Trojans shut out West Hall 7-0, Monday at North Hall High School.

Brewster went the distance, allowing just three hits and one walk while striking out eight batters.

North Hall (9-2, 5-1) got plenty of offense, as well.

Brewster finished the game with a pair of doubles, a pair of runs and a run batted in. Cody Powers went 2-for-4 in the game, adding a run scored against the Spartans (6-5, 2-3).

Next game for North Hall will be Wednesday at Gilmer. West Hall will host Lumpkin County Wednesday. Both games start at 5:30 p.m..
