Former Oakwood mayor, pioneer Hall lawman dies

GAINESVILLE - The first plain clothes detective for the Hall County Sheriff's Office, who was also a former Oakwood mayor, has died.<br>

S.E. "Pete" Doster, age 86, of Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, passed away Thursday at Bell-Minor Nursing Home following a brief illness.<br>
<br>
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 Saturday in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.<br>
