S. Hall road closing

GAINESVILLE - A South Hall road will be permanently closed because of all the road work going on in the Oakwood area..

The state Department of Transportation's Teri Pope says Blackshear Place Drive will be closed Monday from Popular Springs Fork to Mundy Mill Road.

Closing the road will clear the way for the the installation of drainage pipe associated with the widening of Mundy Mill Road/Winder Highway.

The stretch of Blackshear Place Drive between Poplar Springs Fork and Atlanta Highway will remain open.
