HONOLULU - Sundiata Gaines scored 15 points to lead Georgia to a 67-to-59 win over Hawaii in the seventh place game of the Rainbow Classic today.

Zac Swansey and Jeremy Price added 12 points each for the Bulldogs (7-3), and Terrance Woodbury had 11.

Matt Gibson, who did not play in the first half, led Hawaii (3-7) with 16 points. Bobby Nash added 14 for the Rainbow Warriors.

After trailing by as much as 21 points early in the second half, Hawaii made a late 15-to-4 run to pull to within five, 60-to-55, on Nash's 3-pointer with 46.5 seconds to play.

Georgia broke the Rainbow Warrior press on the following possession to cruise to an easy layup, and the Bulldogs made 5-of-7 free throws down the stretch to seal the win.

Georgia held Hawaii to its worst offensive first half of the season as the Rainbow Warriors shot just 28.6 percent from the field in the first. The Bulldogs led 37-to-19 at halftime.

The Rainbow Warriors finished last in their own Rainbow Classic for the first time since 1995.
