Gray is playing the role of Hawaii star quarterback Colt Brennan for Georgia's scout team as the No. 4 Bulldogs practice for the January 1st Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.
Georgia coach Mark Richt says Gray is built like Brennan, but it's hard to simulate what Hawaii does on offense. Richt says the hope is that the scout team can give a semblance of what the Warriors to.
Richt said junior linebacker Marcus Washington ``tweaked his ankle'' in practice this week but should play in the game.
Georgia will have its final practice before breaking for Christmas on Friday morning. The Bulldogs worked out for two hours in full pads today.
Georgia veteran radio play-by-play announcer Larry Munson revealed this week that he will work the Sugar Bowl following a regular season in which he worked only in home games and the regular season finale at Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
The 85-year-old Munson chose the home-only schedule for the regular season to avoid the demanding schedule, but he said he couldn't resist the Sugar Bowl assignment.
