Clearing the air about Winter Holidays

GAINESVILLE - One thing students and their parents certainly don't need is confusion over when the kids need to be in school, so Hall County school officials are trying to clear the air a bit.

There seems to be some confusion about Winter Holidays because of some of the dates published in the middle and high school agenda books.

So, here's the scoop: Thursday December 20 is the last day of school before the start of holidays and Tuesday January 8 is the day that classes resume.
