The game was tight in the first half as Gilmer (2-1) trailed just 13-5 at the end of the first quarter and then 22-15 at halftime.
The rebels, however, found their stroke quickly in the second half using a 21-9 third quarter to open up a 43-24 lead.
Anthony Payne led Fannin with 15 points.
Andrew Kingsley had 12 points and Kirk Pierce 11 for Gilmer.
The Bobcats next will travel to Johnson Tuesday to open Region 7-AAA play.
Fannin County is off until Nov. 30th will it play host to White County.
