GAINESVILLE - The widening of a section of the main road between Gainesville and Cleveland will be the topic of a meeting hosted by the state D.O.T. later this month.

The meeting will be held to discuss the proposed widening of Cleveland Highway between Limestone Parkway and the Jim Hood/Nopone Road intersection.

"We are going to let people see our first draft at things," said the DOT's Teri Pope. "Getting the input early on so we can envelope it into the process."

The project calls for a four-lane divided highway and new bridges at the Chattahoochee River and the East Fork of Little River.

The meeting will be November 29th from 4 'til 7 at Riverbend Elementary School.
