Parents from Chestnut Mountain as well as Spout Springs, Friendship, Martin and Chicopee Woods elementary schools are being invited to attend.
The charter school will offer dual language courses in English and Spanish as well as the chance to learn Mandarin Chinese as a third language.
"Everyone who is interested in knowing about and supporting a charter school should attend if you believe that dual language is important for children to learn more than one language at a very early age," said Superintendent in charge of Teaching and Learning Dr. Eloise Barron which she addressed school officials earlier this month about plans for the meeting.
The meeting will be held from 7:00-9:00 Tuesday in the Chestnut Mountain school gym.
