Former Hall man killed in motorcycle crash

THOMASVILLE - A wreck in south Georgia involving a pickup and a motorcycle has killed a former Gainesville resident.

Larry Chambers Smith of Thomasville died when his bike and the truck collided on a Thomasville city street early Tuesday morning.

According to a story on the Thomasville Times Enterprise Web site, Smith's motorcyle hit the pickup when the truck turned into its path at an intersection.

Thusfar, no charges have been filed.
