Fallen Winder soldier remembered

ATLANTA - A soldier from Winder, killed in action in Iraq Christmas Day, was remembered at his funeral Tuesday as a loving family man and friend. <br> <br> Services for Sgt. 1st Class Dexter Wheelous were held in Atlanta.<br> <br> Marlow Roberson, a friend of Sgt. .t Wheelous&#39;, was among those eulogizing him.<br> <br> &#34;People remember his smile and he was always there,&#34; Roberson said, wiping tears from his eyes.<br> <br> The Army presented Sgt. Wheelous&#39; widow with a number of her husband&#39;s medals, including the Purple Heart.<br> <br> <I>(Channel 2 Action News contributed to this story.)<I/>
