GAINESVILLE - Police are still looking for three men involved in a robbery/shooting at a north Gainesville apartment complex over the weekend.

Gainesville Police Department spokesman Brian Kelly says it happened about 9:00 at the Columns at Chicopee Apartments located off Thompson Bridge Road.

"The victims in this incident are identified as Victor Pulido, 20 years old of Gainesville and Juan Diaz, 20 years old of Gainesville," Lt. Kelly said. "Both victims reported that as they were standing in front of the apartment complex a green passenger car drove up to them and three Hispanic Males exited the vehicle. One of the Hispanic Male suspects brandished a small handgun and demanded money from Pulido. The second victim, Diaz ran from the location and was chased by two of the three Hispanic Males while the third suspect stayed with Pulido. During the foot chase two shots were fired by one of the Hispanic Male suspects; however no one was struck. The victims reported that all three suspects returned to their vehicle and fled the scene."

Pulido reported that his cell phone and an undetermined amount of cash were taken in the incident. Diaz reported no items were taken from his person. There were no injuries reported in this incident and Kelly said there are no indications that the incident was gang related.
