Two from Habersham vying for state Democratic posts

ATLANTA - Two Habersham County women are seeking separate offices with the state
Democratic Party.

Carol Jackson, a former state Senator who failed in a senate comeback attempt last year, is one of six candidates running for the chairmanship being vacated by Bobby Kahn.

Patricia Barlow-Ivry, also from Habersham, is running for secretary.

The elections are to be held this weekend in Atlanta.
