CLERMONT - The King Street water tank in Clermont - a joint Gainesville/Hall County endeavor - is scheduled to come on line next month.

The new, elevated 750,000-gallon tank will serve as storage capacity for the Gainesville water system, providing water primarily for city water customers in the North Hall area.

Work on the site and construction of the tank began last March.
