70 employees to be relocated when Schwans closes corporate office

<p>About 70 employees will be relocated when the Schwans Food Company closes a corporate office in Suwanee to consolidate operations.</p><p>The frozen food company is based in Marshall, Minnesota.</p><p>An executive vice president at Schwans -- Bill McCormack -- says many of the employees in Suwanee are relocating to Bloomington, Minnesota, or Marshall.</p><p>He says a few are relocating to Stilwell, Oklahoma, or to Spartanburg, South Carolina.</p><p>He says the distribution center in Suwanee will remain open.</p><p>McCormack says a portion of the relocation will be completed by March, and the remainder will be finished by June 30th.</p><p>The positions that are relocating include research and development, supply chain and operations, information services and food services. McCormack says he does NOT know how many employees will choose not to relocate.</p>
