Bronson named publisher of The Daily Citizen

<p>William H. Bronson III, a third-generation newspaperman, has been named publisher of The Daily Citizen.</p><p>Bronson, who has been publisher in Americus the last two years, was expected to start the new position Sunday. Terry Connor, the previous publisher, has accepted a job in Texas.</p><p>"My family and I are very excited to be coming to Dalton," said Bronson, who has worked at newspapers in New York and Dallas. "The newspaper philosophy I have is one I learned from my family. The role of a community newspaper is to reflect the community's values and protect its culture while challenging the status quo when needed."</p><p>Bronson graduated from Culver Military Academy, earned an undergraduate degree from Ole Miss and a graduate degree from Alabama.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x1cd9f04)</p>
