Clayton County woman found dead in bathtub was strangled

<p>A woman who was found dead in the bathtub of her apartment was strangled.</p><p>Despite being found face down in a tub of water, a Wednesday autopsy found that Kimberly Jacobs, 26, had no water in her lungs and that her body was placed in the water after she died.</p><p>Clayton County Police believe the killer may have tried to make the death look like a different type of killing. But they said they do not know why.</p><p>"Don't ask me. I don't know what goes into a homicidal maniac's mind," Clayton County Police Assistant Chief Jeff Turner said.</p><p>Jacobs, a social worker, was found partially clothed Tuesday after she did not show up for work.</p><p>Police said they did not have any suspects in the killing. They are interviewing neighbors to ask if they saw anything, Turner said.</p><p>Police have also talked to Jacobs' boyfriend, who had been out of town, Turner said.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x1cd9ae4)</p>
