Autopsy: Driver involved in fatal crash dead before wreck

TOCCOA - The driver of a tractor-trailer involved in a fatal accident in Toccoa earlier this week was dead before the crash.

The accident happened early Tuesday on Georgia 365 at the Jeannette Jamison Intersection.

An autopsy shows John Eckler suffered a fatal aneurysm before the wreck. His 18-wheeler plowed into a pickup driven by Charles Smith of Toccoa, killing Smith.
