The old making way for the new at hospital

GAINESVILLE - The old is making way for the new at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

There is a lot of construction-related activity taking place around the hospital's main campus these days - with the start fo construction of a new patient tower just around the corner.

Construction "entrances" have been established at several localtions around the complex.

In addition, President and CEO Jim Gardner and four other employees recently manned an excavator and ceremoniously began razing one fo the buildings that will be removed to make way for the new construction:
