MURRAYVILLE - North Hall won its fourth straight game Thursday night beating White County 11-2 in Region 7-AAA girls softball action.

The win kept the Lady Trojans unbeaten in region play with a perfect 5-0 record. They are now 10-8 overall.

White County fell to 7-6, 2-2 in region play.

North Hall's Amanda Albertson went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, Jessica McCrary was 2-for-5, and Anna Bower was 2-for-4 with four RBI. Brittney Crews was 2-for-4 with one RBI, Hope West was 3-for-4 and Leigh Ann Romine was 2-or-4 for the Lady Trojans.

North Hall coach Roger Fannon said the fundamentals have fueled the win streak.

"We have been getting timely hitting and playing sound defense," he said. "Maybe we can make a run (at the region)."

North Hall and a host of teams from the North Georgia area will begin playing in the annual North Fall Classic Monday, which is being played at North Hall and North Georgia College.

The tournament then resumes on Friday, with the finals set for next Saturday at North Hall, North Georgia College and Lumpkin County High School.
