GAINESVILLE - The developers of a southside subdivision want Gainesville to annex the 219-acre site.

Heritage Pointe is under construction on Gaines Mill road near East Dennis Drive.

More than 300 houses are planned as part of the project; the annexation application states that 36 homes have been built or are under construction.

The Gainesville Planning and Appeals Board is to consider the request October 10.

Other items on the agenda include:

*An annexation request for eight acres at Limestone Parkway and Cleveland Highway for a commercial/retail/office complex.

*A rezoning application for 16 acres at Limestone Parkway and Clarks Bridge Road where a commercial/office center is planned.

*A rezoning request for 1.5 acres on Thompson Bridge Road at Etta Vista Circle where a commercial/office development is planned.
