Gainesville Police spokesman Chad White tells us Jorge Perez was the driver of the car that went out of control on Brown's Bridge Road at Spring Road and plowed into four vehicles on the lot at J A Auto Sales. Lt. White says Perez was fleeing the scene of an accident just a few blocks away - at Pearl Nix Parkway and Brown's Bridge Road.
He's charged with:

*Driving without a license
*Running a red light
*Hit-and-run
*No proof of insurance
*Seat belt violation
*Leaving the scene of an accident
*Failure to maintain lane
*Failure to notifiy owner upon striking a fixture
