LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky football coach Rich Brooks is sticking with junior quarterback Andre Woodson to start against Louisville in the Wildcats' season opener Sunday night.
Brooks had allowed sophomore Curtis Pulley to compete throughout summer practice with Woodson, last season's starter, for the top spot on Kentucky's depth chart. But he said Monday both quarterbacks will see action against the No. 13 Cardinals.
``Both will see some time at quarterback and Pulley will also play another position as well,'' Brooks said Monday. ``There's no designated plan for who will play when, we'll just get a feel for what's happening in the game.''
Brooks said Woodson throws a better deep ball that Pulley, along with his experience at managing the offense.
Woodson started 11 games last season, throwing for 1,644 yards and six touchdowns, along with six interceptions. He completed 146 of 253 attempts (57.7 percent).
Sunday's game is at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium
