The matter has been up in the air for several weeks but the city council is expected to take final action at its' 9:30 meeting.
Many opponents made their feelings known at a public hearing August 10th.
Roger Akins, a Flowery Branch resident, asked, "Why would you even consider bringing them into Flowery Branch; Flowery Branch does not need a problem."
A week later the city council added a condition on blasting time to the requests - which City Planner James Riker said was a direct result of comment at the hearing.
