DeKalb County liquor store owner killed in robbery attempt

<p>The owner of a liquor store is dead after being shot in his subdivision in an apparent robbery attempt.</p><p>Sashamer "Rocky" Tucker was driving home with his wife around 1 a.m. Sunday when two armed men drove to their vehicle, DeKalb County police spokesman Jason Gagnon said.</p><p>Police suspect the men may have followed the couple into their subdivision in Stone Mountain.</p><p>Police say Tucker pulled out a gun and got into a shootout with the two. He died at the scene.</p><p>Police said they were not sure if the two suspects were wounded in the shooting. Detectives visited several hospitals looking for any gunshot victims who may have been involved.</p><p>Tucker owned Rocky's Package Store near the Emory University campus.</p>
