<p>Three 16-year-old boys have been linked to a fatal shooting at a Norcross apartment and more than a dozen other armed robberies targeting Hispanics in the area, police said.</p><p>Tunde Kevin Alatise, of Lilburn, Ga., Jovon Lamar Nicholson and Richard Williams Shugart, both of Duluth, Ga., were arrested Thursday on murder charges. In addition, more charges are pending against them for 15 other armed robberies, said Cpl. Darren Moloney, Gwinnett County police spokesman.</p><p>"These guys did their research well as far as targeting men who were easy targets," Moloney said. "The robberies were late at night in low-lighted areas. Some of the victims were intoxicated. The crimes were getting progressively worse and worse and more violent."</p><p>The arrests came after police pulled over a red Acura Integra that had been reported stolen after a carjacking. The driver, Leausha Monae Nicholson, 17, of Dacula, Ga., told police that she had information about several armed robberies. Jovon Nicholson is her brother.</p><p>Authorities obtained search warrants for the three boys' homes and found items that helped link the boys to about 15 other armed robberies in the Norcross area, police said.</p><p>A robbery at the Bristol Court Apartments on July 8 resulted in the shooting death of Aurelio German Mendoza-Garcia as he sat in his car talking on a cell phone. The only description Mendoza-Garcia could give police before being loaded on an ambulance was that of a black man wearing all black clothing.
